- Keep it online
- $24.99 a year
- After your story's first year: your films stay online and any hours left stay yours to use. Renews each year; stop any time.
Your story is kept online for you and the family you choose, and a copy is yours whenever you ask. Keeping the films online after the first year is $24.99 a year, and optional — your words and your book stay either way.
Prices in the US, plus any sales tax. The same price for every block, paid once — only keeping it online renews.
What the time becomes
Every chapter is written up in your own words and laid out as a book to print. A page looks like this:
Chapter 1 · Childhood
The house by the railway
We lived at number fourteen, the end of a terrace that backed onto the railway. When the coal train went by, the cups on the dresser rang against each other, and my mother would put a hand flat on them without looking up.
The kitchen was the only warm room. In winter we did everything in it — homework, the wireless, my father’s boots drying on newspaper by the range.
“You didn’t knock at our house. You just came in and put the kettle on.”
On Sundays my grandmother came for her dinner, and she always brought the same two things: a bag of pear drops for me, and an opinion for everybody else.
After the first year
A block gives your story a year from your first conversation — a year to talk, with everything you make kept — and a block added later always leaves at least a year. After that, keeping it online is $24.99 a year. If you don’t, the conversations stop and any unused hours wait for you — another block opens it again. The films stay for 60 days more, and we write before they come down. Your words, your book and your photographs stay for as long as your account does.
Giving it as a gift
You’ll pay for the blocks, and we send them by email on a day you choose, or as a card you print and give them yourself. They start by signing in — no payment card, no price anywhere they look — and their year begins with their first conversation, so a Christmas present opened in February loses nothing. The story is theirs: you’ll see that it was opened, never what was said.
